Singer Songwriter Circle in San Francisco

Join Lisa Gutkin, Pauli Gray, and Martha Groves Perry at the intimate, scenic Chit-Chat Café in Pacifica CA - 5 W. Manor Drive - for an afternoon of inspiring original songs to match the gorgeous ocean views.

LISA GUTKIN is a Grammy Award winning violinist, singer, actor, and composer best known as a member of the acclaimed Klezmatics, and most recently for her musical score, performance, and music direction in the two time Tony award-winner, Indecent. A cameo performance in Sex and the City, a seat in Sting’s Broadway band for The Last Ship, a CD of original songs produced by John Lissauer, and scores for Amy Guggenheim’s Blindsight, and Pearl Gluck’s Summer have taken her a long way from her beginnings as back up musician to the Fast Folk songwriters’ collective. PAULI GRAY is the founding member and primary songwriter of several bands including Candy from Strangers, the Lipstick Stains (aka Stains), Shot in Dark, and Class of ’77. In addition to his popular solo singer/songwriter act, he is the longtime guitar player in White Trash Debutantes. His huge, gritty guitar sound achieves the difficult feat of forging several guitar parts into blistering rhythms and solos. Learn more about Pauli at facebook.com/fallingpauli.

MARTHA GROVES PERRY is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in San Francisco, California. Her original music has a straightforward, compelling and sometimes edgy clarity with a badass Americana flavor. Her penetrating lyrics, described by her producer, Kenny Schick, as “journaling in poetry,” reflect the fearless truth-telling and unbothered amusement of a seasoned, female point of view.
